Exhibition space is 1000 m² at the heart of the conference will cater for businesses and research labs working at the forefront of marine technology. More than 35 exhibitors are attended during Sea Tech Week 2012 from Tuesday 9th to Thursday 11th October 2012.

Ifremer's launch Haliotis...

Ifremer’s launch Haliotis will be exhibited this year in front of the Quartz congress centre. Haliotis is a recent oceanographic launch, length 10 metre, dedicated to acoustic imagery/bathymetry and specially designed to map the nature and the morphology of the seabed in shallow waters. More than a launch, Haliotis is an integrated concept including a semi-articulated truck equipped with a mounted crane. This economical and autonomous concept allows to deploy Haliotis everywhere: sea, estuary, lake, river…Haliotis is used for Ifremer’s research works but she can also be chartered by every customer who needs an efficient equipment.

Multi touch 3D table...

A multi touch table provides an immersive experience, allowing the users to visualize in 3D the living organisms in the tide pool, and interact with the display to get in depth information about them. The living organisms video clips are real life 2D and 3D movies as well as computer generated 3D animations. The visitor is offered an interactive educational itinerary in which he can interact with 3D objects.
